Beetles

I thought that the bug world feared me but it turns out I'm wrong... it seems that they are fighting back.

I was playing on my computer last thur night for a bit and suddenly Bill (my roomate) says... "Aaron dont move... get up slowly and walk to the door." Now if was trying to be helpful he wasnt doing a good job. Of course all of us fear the worst and think we are going to die. It doesn't help that when Bill is serious... he sounds REALLY serious. After a moment he says " theres a stink bug on your back." Well that helped in some ways but didn't on others. There is no information on where on your back or how big or what is the bugs next tactic is. Is he taking a nap? Or about to wage biological warfare on my neck. Lucky for me my sisters are really squimish about bugs (Melane with spiders) and I have had practice making myself not react badly to large bugs. (Aaron kill it! Youve got a shoe on your foot, so STOMP AWAY! sheesh) So i got outside and Bill brushed it off of me. Good news he's just a large beetle.. bad news... how the heck did he get on my back???

Anyways i am working on my laptop in the chemestry building wating for my next class. Everything is fine and then my leg feels weird. Almost feels like somthings trying to bite my leg. Again your body goes into overdrive and imagins the worst possible outcome from the avaliable information. I dont want to freak out because my valuable laptop is... well on my lap and I dont want to throw it around. So after moving the laptop of of my lap while the feeling intesifies on my leg then i freak out. It was ANOTHER of those beetles trying to climb up my leg.... So i let it wander away from me thinking that either im just unlucky... or bugs are out to get me. I hate bugs... If those beetles werent so darn big, id squish them.

So thats the good story for today... time to head of to chem

Have fun

AHHH! If I were you, I would be carrying raid! I know that they have small ones of pepper spray that can fit on a key chain...so maybe they have one with raid. If not maybe you could invent one and make millions.

yuck.. ick.. There was a big spider last night that Dad killed for me. phew! good thing he was there! I do want u to know that I kill spiders when they are in my house... well, most of the time.. sometimes I put a cup over them and then when I am breathing more normally and can deal with the situation, I put them outside. Then I run away. Seems to work OK for me.
Remind me not to live in southern NM.

were they stink bugs or some other kind of beetle? Maybe they aren't attracted to you, but to your laptop...tech bugs! I sure hope it was cockroaches. Those sure give me the willies....almost as much as spiders in my bed. Its a good reminder to spray my basement room before it gets much colder and the invasion begins!

here in montana, being that we live on the edge of town, there are many bugs that like to come and visit. I've had my share but I don't think it will ever be as bad as when I was the Orkin man in Florida. Talk about bugs.
You know they are drawn to the warmth of electrical products.

Also, if you have dyslexia when typing in the word verification it doesn't recognize it as a real problem and won't let you in!

Thanks for a good laugh this morning Aaron! That felt good since I am feeling crabby. Hopefully that is the last of your bugginess. But it sure makes for a funny story.

yuck, my beehives found a huge beetle while cleaning the church on Tuesday. Seems like it's just big beetle week. And I definitely prefer beetles to spiders. Talk about heebijeebies. I found two in one web the other day and vacuumed them up and sprayed the corner w/ spider spray quite thoroughly.
